Beverley was born in Duncan on March 10,1944. Beverley was raised in Crofton on the morgan horse ranch, and she raised her own family here. Bev left Crofton for a short period of time she lived with Brian in Victoria BC while he was in on the navy base there, they moved back to Saskatoon for a couple of years, Crofton was always where she was meant to be. In 1971 they purchased their house on Charlotte Street, Bev raised her family and well after she enjoyed the house with her grandchildren. Moving to Chemainus in 2023 to a great little community at Chemainus Gardens.

In the early 1970’s Bev alongside Brian ventured into commercial fishing, bought a logging truck starting Nicholson Ventures in 1979 which inspired long haul trucking over the duration of 38 years where she worked alongside her husband, sons, daughter, and son in law. Together with Brian they travelled many miles throughout Canada and the United States. This eventually turning into travelling in a Dutch star coach in her retirement years.

Throughout her years Bev has been a softball coach to many young girls, she was a member of the Crofton community center for over 60 years. In this time, she has volunteered countless hours for many occasions as well as was the head of the Crofton caterers for many years. Bev was also a member of the Crofton senior center which  includes the Crofton quilters. Bev was very well known for her beautiful quilt work.

Bev would travel great length to watch her grandchildren play sports from hockey, soccer, and softball.

Bev loved many things in life’s but nothing more than her family. Her proudest achievements were being a mom, gramma, and a great gramma.

Mom was truly loved by all that knew her, we will miss her more than words can express.

Please join us for a celebration of life on April 6,2024 at 1:00pm at the Crofton Community Center.
