Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our lovely mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Betty. Predeceased by our dad, Victor John Henry, and daughter, Lori. Mom had a great spirit, and love for her family. She always had a smile and warm words of encouragement for whoever crossed her path. She will be deeply missed by her children Gary, Susan, and Steven (Tineke), grandchildren; Kevin (Jane), Christy (Jim), Travis (Bev), Mark, Tyler (Zoe), Amy (Andrew), and Lorne, great grandchildren; Owen, Rachel, Frances, and Locke. We will love and remember you forever mom.
A celebration of Betty's life will be announced at a later date.

My grandmother was the sweetest lady. She took the time to speak to everyone, give everyone a friendly smile and quite often share a cup of tea. Her love for people was a special gift. Heaven definitely gained a special angel. I will treasure our special little secret talks, our baking together, and most of all her hugs and kisses. I will miss her terribly. Love you Grandma xo. My grandma helped shape who I am. In a progressing world she brought me classical. In a world of technology she showed me nature. In a world of war she showed me peace. In a world of hate she showed me love. In a world of solitude she made me remember family. Thank you grandma for keeping me grounded and giving me balance. Grandma was cheerful and loving to everyone she encountered and all felt compelled to reciprocate. This was amazing trait to see and few people these days possess it. Everyone that knew grandma was impacted though and changed for the better. I love you grandma.
