Benny Clarington Marston
April 19, 1943 – June 7, 2011

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather Benny Clarington Marston
passed away in Duncan on June 7, 2011, at the age of 68. He is
survived by his wife of 46 years, Alvina (née Erickson), his children,
Cayce and Jennifer, his granddaughter, Belle, and his many brothers,
sisters, nieces and nephews in the Erickson and Marston families.
Benny was born in Victoria on April 19, 1943, and attended Cowichan
High School. He was a lover of the open road and traveled much of
North America, from the Yukon and Alaska down to Mexico. He spent his
last two years fulfilling his lifelong dream of RVing year round with
Alvina. His kindness, strength, and gratitude for all that life
offered were an inspiration to those who loved him, and he will be
dearly missed. A celebration of Benny’s life will be held at the
Duncan United Church on Thursday, June 30, at 2:30 p.m.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tom Rimmer and the staff at
Cowichan District Hospital for their compassionate care.
