Tribute
Passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital with his family by his side, on Thursday June 12, 2014. Barry was born in Victoria on January 2, 1943 and will be lovingly remembered by his family; wife of 49 years Caroline; children Gordon and Gregg (Sonia); his grandchildren Brent, Carson and Abigail who were everything to him and his brother in law Gerry Hurst.
Many thanks to Dr. Archdekin and Dr. Morris as well as the 3rd floor staff at Cowichan District Hospital for letting him go peacefully without pain.
Please join us for a “Lucky” to remember Barry on Thursday June, 19, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the Brass Bell in Crofton, BC, 8152 York Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bone Marrow Research VGH/UBC Hospital Foundation, 190 – 855 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1M9.
