Barb Anne Evans (Creviston)
August 7, 1941 - May 30, 2021
Tribute
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barbara. Born in Ashcroft B.C then moving to Texada Island with her family and later to Victoria B.C., where she met her husband of 57 years Dick Evans.
Survived by her husband Dick, two daughters Debbie (Glen) Naylor, Denise (Dan) Early, four grandchildren Dylan, Chloe, Jay, and Campbell, and 2 great grandchildren, Lily and Jamie, her two sisters Irene and Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barb completed her LPN diploma in 1980 and worked at Cowichan District Hospital and 30 years at Acacia Lodge in Shawnigan Lake B.C.
In retirement Barbara enjoyed cooking, gardening and travelling with her husband in their RV to California and Arizona. Barbara was very devoted to her family and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren cooking family dinners and organizing all the holiday gatherings.
We would like to thank Dr. Sanders and Dr. Sahota, as well as the paramedics and the Nursing staff on 2 South at CDH. A special Thank you to friends and neighbours at Arbutus Ridge for their tremendous support during these difficult times.

I was saddened to see the notice of Barb’s passing. I have fond memories around boating and meals with Barb and Dick. I especially remember Barb’s passion for decorating at Christmastime. My thoughts go out to the family.
