From: Deb Reim Gauti

I am sending my loving thoughts of heartfelt Sympathies to Susan, Janice, Kirsti and all the Families in the recent passing of your Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. May She Rest in Peace.

From: Bonnie Cooke
Relation: Mother-in-Law

I’m very sad to hear of Barb’s passing from Alzheimers. She was always a bright spot in the family with her infectious laugh. Her needlework was beautiful, she taught me many a stitch. She made Dad Cooke very happy & they especially enjoyed their Snowbird trips to Arizona. Sending our heartfelt condolences to all of the family, may your Mom & Gramma continue to live on in your memories.

Sincerely,
Bonnie & Collin Cooke
Sooke, BC

From: Leah Franklin
Relation: Grandmother

Extending deep and heartfelt sympathy to all of you on the passing of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Barbara came into my life at the age of 11 and was a wonderful loving wife to my Grandfather. Barb had such a kind heart and she had an infectious laugh that always made you smile when you heard it. I was able to spend many weekends/summers with Barb and my Grandfather camping and playing cards – she taught me how to play Rummy! When my children were born she was always knitting something for one of my girls. I’ll always remember Barbara and the happiness she brought into my Grandfather’s life. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Sincerely, Leah Franklin, Kierra Svoboda and Alyssa Svoboda

Relation: Step Mum

Sorry I was late getting to Royal Oak today, but I managed to hear the ceremony as well as the grave site services. Always appreciated the love and care she gave to Dad. It was nice to see the pictures of Dad & Barb together in your collage. Deepest sympathies.

Collin Cooke
