Baksho Kaur Sall

Sall, Baksho Kaur passed away on March 29, 2026 at Cowichan District Hospital. Baksho was born on November 3rd, 1933 and came to Canada in May of 1954 to be with her husband Gurmej Singh Sall.
She is the daughter of the late Baboo Singh and Naseeb Kaur Dhaliwal. The sister of the late Pritiam and Jagdish Kaur Azad and at age 4 her sister Parmpyari Kaur Dhaliwal and deceased grandson Sukhjeet.
Baksho is survived by Amerjeet (Chanchal), Kindy (Murray), Kuldeep (Manjit), Ranjit (Amerjeat), Manjit (Hardial), 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. She is also survived by her sisters Giano Kaur (Wes) and Balbinder Kaur (Jaswant).
Doors open at H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre at 10 am – Service starts at 11 am with cremation at Paldi for immediate family only.
Please proceed to the Duncan Sikh Temple for lunch and her final prayers.

Dear Kuldip and Family, sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother, with deepest sympathies , it’s been over 40 years since we met, last at Sarj Sall’s wedding, in Lake Cowichan .. Your mother was from a Pioneer family and made a lot of sacrifices and struggles to give you lot, a better. Life in this beautiful country .
-Your ancestral home ( Of Udham S & Ishkar K in Pind Palahi was behind ours. As a child. I used to go visit your Nana Ji Baboo & Bunta S. Dhaliwal,
with my dad and grandpa. They lived off Main & 7th in Vancouver, real characters , they were good friends of our family,
“ Back in the Good Old Days, When we weren’t So Good and We Weren’t Old .Lol. “
Very sorry to read about your Mamaji Dr Pritam passing. I believe he moved to the USA.
Your mother had a long life , May the All Mighty “ Guru Ji “ bestow upon , you and your entire extended family blessings of Shanti, Pyar & Rajni Kushee to all family members
