Tribute
It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Audrey Peter. Predeceased by her husband Erich Peter, beloved mother to Dean (Debra) and Grant (Kim). Loving grandma to Jacob, Rebecca and Victoria and great grandmother to Amelia.
Audrey was born in Victoria and lived her whole life in Duncan. She worked for CIBC until she had her two sons. After raising the boys, Audrey spent many years delivering mail and loved her work. She enjoyed playing cards and board games and was sharp as a tack. Erich and Audrey were always up for an adventure and loved to travel south to Yuma in the winter. She had amazing friends and was always quick with a smile and loved to laugh. She also had a crazy sweet tooth.
Her love of her family was evident. She loved her grandchildren dearly and loved to have visits from her nephew Gord.
Her passing leaves a hole in our lives. We are left with the cherished memories. She will be dearly missed.

I was lucky to have known Audrey. Not only was she my “boss” , she was a friend. She loved family, she spent a lot of time in Victoria with her mom, then she’d head to the casino. She’d was happy to take anyone’s money playing cards, and was a really good sport when she’d lost. Working with her was fun, she had so much patience. Wayne and I enjoyed many good times with her and Erich, playing cards and jokes. One of my favourite one was when we placed a “wooden log deer”, dressed in a bikini on their front lawn and listening to her speculate on where it came from. Finally weeks later I told her. Tho we weren’t in contact over the last years, she holds a special place in my heart.
