PANTE: Armelita – passed way peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on Saturday April 3, 2010. Born in Ibajay, Aklan, Philippines on January 23, 1944. Lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing for family and friends will be held at Sequoia Memorial Gardens, 4465 Falaise Dr., Victoria BC on Friday April 9, 2010 from 7:00p.m. to Saturday morning 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Lady of Fatima Church, 4635 Elk Lake Road, Victoria at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Staff and volunteers at Blanshard Community Centre are very saddened by the loss of Armelita a treasured volunteer. Although we only had the privilege to work with Armelita since last October, we appreciated her warmth, kindness and wonderful smile. We will miss her. Our deepest sympathy are with her family at this time.
