Anna Elisabeth Lundstrom (Erickson)

Tribute
In loving memory of Anna Elisabeth Catherine Lundstrom (née Erickson), more affectionately known as Auntie Annie, who passed away on July 22, 2015 in Duncan BC, at 94 years old. Annie was born on June 8, 1921 in Saskatchewan, daughter of Henning and Karolina Erickson. Annie married John Berthil Lundstrom on April 20, 1939, with whom she loved to spend summers camping and fishing in Lantzville. Of Swedish descent, Annie would often be described as a force of nature – proud, hardworking, strong-willed, and most of all, exceptionally loving.
Annie is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Bert, her beloved son, Floyd, her parents, her seven brothers and sisters, and her son-in-law Ron Anderson. She is survived by her daughters Caroline Mayvis (Martin) and Mona; her son Cliff (Helen); her daughter-in-law Marilyn; her grandchildren Guy, Byron, Ian (Kelli), Kyla (Michael), Preston, Hayley (Brent), and Candace; her great grandchildren Alexis, Birkley, Tyson, and five week old Brynley. She was also considered an honourary Grandma or Auntie to many more.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cowichan Valley Hospital for their care and compassion to Annie during her last few months.
A celebration of Annie’s life will be held at the Quamichan Inn, 1478 Maple Bay Rd., Duncan, BC on Monday July 27 from 1-4pm, with speeches beginning at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Annie’s honour.
