Brown: Alan Edwin
Passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital on September 30th, 2011. Born in Fredericton N.B. on August 13th, 1963. He set out in life to spread his love for art and, that he did. Al spent a lot of time with his partner Lisa, his daughter and the boys, always attending school functions and family activities. Al also had quite a creative side, he was well known for his etching, carving, poetry and tattoos.
Lovingly remembered by his partner Lisa Compton, Daughter, Savannah, stepsons, Ethan & Dallas and dog, Tattoo.
Al lived his life to the fullest. He was a great father and friend. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery, 6493 Somenos Rd, Duncan, BC. October 17th, 2011 at 2pm, with a reception to follow at the Eagles Hall, 2965 Boys Rd, Duncan BC.
My many thanks go to family & friends for their support. I would also like to thank H.W. Wallace for all his help…

Hello. I’m sorry to write this as I realize Alan passed away quite a few years ago. I was a friend of Al’s back in the 90’s. We were really good friends for a few years. I’d love to know more about his life and perhaps share some stories.

Well,Brother, I finally found you. Better late than never, I guess. I came to Duncan to find you after you left my joint. I didn’t have any luck. I always hoped you made it but when you didn’t call me or my mom I couldn’t help but think the worst. We miss you, and know you found your place. My mom always talks about you. You are in my heart forever and I will definitely find you in that other place. Thinking of you with a deep fondness. Love always, Your friend, Fritz.
