ADA WALKER – May 31, 1923 – February 17, 2011 Passed away surrounded by family at her Duncan home ADA was a loving sister; MOM; grandma, great grandma, great great grandma, Westcoast Grandmother, “Stage Mom”, and friend. She was a member of the South Island Musical Theater Society, the Red Hat Ladies and the Green Strip Gang. Always full of life, love and ready to tackle any job with a sense of fun, good humor and food for all. Predeceased by her husband Ron Walker, father Roy Carlow, mother Sarah Carlow and Sister Ivy Holman. She sadly leaves brother George(Freda) of Victoria; children; Mickey (Donna) of Port Hardy; Eric (June) of Chemainus; Linda (Bob) of Sooke; George (Shari) of Cherry Grove, Alberta; Judy (Bruce) of Lake Cowichan; Jack of Duncan; Ada (Don) of Prince George; Mavourneen (Wayne) of Sooke; Step-daughter Fay (Bill) of Duncan; her 27 Grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 17great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Harris and RN's Deb and Sandra. A celebration of her life will be March 12, 2011 at the Duncan Christian Reformed Church, 930 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC from 1 to 4 pm The family asks that in lieu of flowers – any donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
